ATMASFERA’s creativity focuses on the inner world of the human, his deep experiences and feelings. The name of the band comes from Sanskrit, where “atma” means a person and “sfera” means their environment or what surrounds them. AtmAsfera are a frontrunner of the Yoga Music Experience trend on the world music market.
They were the recipients of one of the main awards at the prestigious American Round Glass Music Awards. They won in the “Enlightened Musician of the Year” category in 2018, the same year Ringo Starr of The Beatles was awarded Song of the Year. After watching ATMASFERA’s performance one of the journalists attending wrote: “They sing in Sanskrit – the ancient language of mantras. Their music is not only notes, but a complete philosophy. Their songs ask deep questions and give deep answers. ATMASFERA is a new direction in the music industry. New and unique.”
It’s a statement hard to disagree with when you see their live performance and experience the magic.
The band has performed on many stages, gaining appreciation and admiration of listeners, regardless of their culture, nationality, age or religion. Thanks to their professional approach to their careers and lives, every performance is a unique experience.
As Yamuna says, “You can try to stick to certain models and concepts, but sometimes it will only distract you from your main idea. Music may be interesting technically and intellectually, but it may lack the right feeling. We try not to lose what is most important.” “We like to mix different sounds, rare instruments, at the same time staying in the current of contemporary music,” adds Kalindi. Denis is a guitar virtuoso who knows his profession inside and out. Sergij is the bass pulse and the group’s representative smile. And last but definitely not least Timur, the band’s only non-Ukrainian, hailing from Georgia, is the constantly-full-of-energy drummer, who is the force that sets the band’s music in motion.
ATMASFERA has represented Ukraine at many festivals, such as: Berlin Yoga Festival (DE), Carpathian Yoga Fest (UA), Moldejazz (NO), Musikkfest (NO), The Global Battle Of The Bands (GB), Emergenza (RU), EUROPA-FEST (RO), FOURE (KZ), MJR Festival (LT), Kraina Mriy (UA) and others.
They performed at the Polish Woodstock Festival in 2009, where they won the audience award called “Złoty Bączek” and were subsequently invited back to play on the big stage. They reached the finals of Must Be The Music (PL) in 2011. Enroute to the final the main juror, Polish music legend Kora, said with her characteristic charm: “For me you are a phenomenon, everything as it should be… everything adds up with fantastic energy, with a wonderful, natural, unforced movement. Nothing is artificial here. This is what is needed on stage. You are ready to perform. I will be happy to come to your concert!” Elżbieta Zapendowska joyfully declared that she would also come to the ATMASFERA concert, “Crazy. Beautiful. I see you as a phenomenon.”
The works presented here have been created over the last 10 years. On 13th of October the band’s newest single entitled “Power Of Soul” was released and is ready to be heard.
ATMASFERA is still evolving, looking for new inspirations and sounds.

This video marks the start of a new era in the life of ATMASFERA. The single reflects upon the new direction in which the band is currently heading. We have chosen to define it as Indie Yoga Music. Music that can change the state of our hearts.
Previous festivals we have attended include Mind Body Spirit Festival (UK), Berlin Yoga Festival (DE), Big Yoga Festival (ES), Kieler Yoga Festival (DE), Woodstock (PL), MoldeJazz (NO), Emergenza (RU), and FOURЭ (KZ). On our European tour 2019, ‘On The Way Home’, visited countries such as the UK, Spain, Germany, France, Switzerland, Poland, Norway, and more.
Traveling with the yoga sounds gives a refuge from the storms of life; a path where rocky mountains turn into small, easily climbed hills. A path that allows us to integrate, harmonize and fill with deep meaning and purpose every aspect of our life.
This song describes a completely relaxed state of being where you can just be as you are, with whatever flaws and weaknesses you may have. In such a state you somehow forget about yourself and your problems. You feel accepted and loved, despite your mistakes, and you realize that this love will never end and never change.
